Prologue

"You didn't came to wave a goodbye" she texted for the last time.

"I can't see you going, you know that very well" he texted.

"Ok, GoodBye" her text came, his beats slowed down.

"GoodBye" he texted, "Milte hai (See you)" he said in his heart.

And she left him forever.

BreakUp Tales #6

"I'll see you tomorrow" she said as he came closer for a hug.

He could sense she was uncomfortable

"Prachi" he said, she turned back

 "Always remember I am your best friend" he said and she faked a smile.

Their relationship was just three years old, but undoubtedly he was the only one who understood her completely. He was the only one she was entirely comfortable with.

Their relationship was weird, most of the time she'd breakup with him for small and tiny reasons like last time she did 

"You were looking at my cousin!" she screamed. 

"No I wasn't" how could he look at any other person when he's privileged to be with his soul mate.

"You area liar! You were looking at her!" she wanted to breakup.

"I wasn't" he said. "You were!" the argument raised.

"Ok, I did, I am sorry" he said to solve it.

"See, I knew you were fibbing" she won, was happy, "Breakup! I am done with you!" 

She broke his heart for almost a dozen of times!

 But she'd come back, return to him as she knew he's the only one who loves her truly and wouldn't harm her in any ways.

He loved her, so he forgive her every time. Sometimes even her harsh disrespectful words felt "cute" to him. The strong thing about the relationship was the friendship. That was the reason they kept on uniting even after breaking up. Love created trouble, friendship would resolve them. 

She brokeup many times! With all the weird reason one can ever imagine!

Like 

"You were looking at my cousin! Let's Breakup"

"I love someone else! Let's Breakup"

"You are ignoring me! Let's Breakup"

"You have a screenlock on your phone! You're cheating me! Let's Breakup"

And sometimes she'd say "I want to breakup"

"Why" he'd ask.

"Because I don't love you!" 

every time she said that, he would shatter into pieces. But he would keep loving her anyways, with all the respect and love, with all the newness of her, in the moment. Fresh. New. 

It was the ending of the last year of collage! And just few days before the final exam

Her behavior suddenly changed! She started ignoring him! Suddenly! 

It wasn't the first time this happened! But suddenly when your bestfriend behaves like stranger, it hurts.

"Stop following me" she warned him.

He kept on following her "Atleast tell me what's wrong" he said shattered.

"Shrawan stop following me!" her voice raised.

"Come on Prachi! Don't do this! Let's talk!" he said softly.

"Can't you understand, you idiot! I don't want to talk" every one around watched the dispute.

"Don't do this to me again!" he said holding her hand.

"Leave my hand Shrawan!" she glowered.

"Let's talk" he requested,still holding her hand.

"Leave my hand or I'll slap you!" 

"I just want to talk!" 

"I won't ever! Never!" she said, his beats slowed and grip went firm.

"Please" he said, his eyes filled with tears.

"Leave me" she screamed and slapped him, tightly.

A wave of silence passed, he could see her going angrily,

"Beysharam, Ghatiya insaan"were the last words he could hear from the most beautiful voice of the world.

People around giggled and laughed at him. 

He stood there till the time she disappeared from his sight.

7 Days Later

Engagement Ceremony

"Where's the ring?" Prachi's father was nervous "I think it's lost"

"You can't handle a single thing" his wife was angry on him as always.

"Look everyone is ready for the ceremony!" his father's BP went high.

"Sandhi ji ayeya!Beti anguthi pehna ne ka murat nikla ja raha hai" 

"Actually! Woh Ring.." her father decided to say the truth but in between

"Here's the ring" Shrawan came.

Prachi got frozen seeing him at her engagement.

"Oh son, thank god you brought it" her father said.

"Actually I was stuck in traffic, so thoda late ho gaya Sharma Uncle" he said.

"Koi baat nai beta, lao Ring do" 

She couldn't believe her eyes. 

"What's Shrawan doing here!" she whispered in her father's ear.

"What type of question is that? Why won't Shrawan be here? He's here helping us since last two days for your wedding's preparation"

She was speechless. 

"After all he's your best friend. Why wouldn't he help?" Sharma Ji explained "Here it is, take the ring, hurry up" he gave her the ring.

She took it and went to his fiance. 

He place it beautifully on her finger,she opens the box and couldn't and her beats were raised.

"What kind of engangement ring you'll love?" he.

"Golden with two diamonds in it" she.

"Why two? he.

"First diamond is Me second is You" she.

And she placed a golden ring with two diamonds on her fiance's finger, looking at Shrawan.

Shrawan smiling peacefully, looking at her. 

Engagement Ceremony was done.

Haaldi 

"I don't want Shrawan to be here dad!" she said.

"Dimag kharab hai tumhara? Kitna sara kaam hai! Sab wo manage kar raha hai! Uske bina mushkil jo jayega sab! Aur wase bhi tumhara to best friend hai, woh kase nahi hoga idhar? Kamal ki baat karti ho beta tum!" her dad completed.

"Arey Shrawan beta, Kitchen se haldi ka bartan le aao zara!" 

He entered like a hero with utensil full of Haldi in his hand, smiling. 

He kept the utensil in front of her and the ceremony began.

Everyone was applying Haldi on her beautiful face and her eyes were rolling again and again towards him.

Finally at last, his turn came, her beats raised. His beats slowed.

He held her head from the back and pulled it inside the utensil.

"Hey! Here's the Surprise Cake!" he.

"Wow" she.

And the very next moment, he banged her face inside the cake.
"HappyBirthday" he.

"Arey beta ye kya kiya!" Sharma Ji said laughing.

"Uncle dosti mai to asey hi haldi laga te hai!" Shrawan said smiling.

She looked like a Zombie, angry zombie.

"Thappad ka badla le rahe ho?" she muttered.

"Badla to dushman lete hai, dost to jashan manate hai!" he smiled.

"Shrawan" Sharma Ji called, he left.

"Beta wo Speaker kab tak aa jayenge?" 

"Till 6.00 PM uncleji" 

"Sahi hai beta! Nice job. Bas sangeet bhi sahi se ho jaye"

"It will be done Uncle ji, relax"

Sangeet

The mood was setup.

Everyone was enjoying except the bride.

She slapped him, brokeup with him. treated him badly and now he's enjoying her marriage as if it's a celebration for him. She was totally baffled. 

Shrawan bhaiya app kuch gaa do! And the mike was passed to him.

She was scared about the song that would come out of his lips.

"Accha chalta hu...Duao mai yaad rakhna..Mere zikar ka zuba pe sawad rakhna"

he sang the line and stopped, everyone was looking at him suspiciously "Abey miyyatpe thodi aye hai!" he changed his tone, he changed his mood, he changed the song 

"Ajj mere yaar ki Shadi hai!

Mere dildaar ki shaadi hai

Taare tod-tod laaun, tere pallke sajaunga

Phool raahon mein bichhaunga main pyaar ke

Ajj mere yaar ki Shadi hai!

Lagta hai jaise mere shaddi hai!

Pure saansar ki shadi hai"

with all the happiness and true enthusiasm, with all love and blessings

he sang that!

All she could do was to see him and let her tears flow.

Mehandi

"Kal mehandi hai!" she texted.

"Hmm" he replied.

"Naacho ge?" she texted.

"DDLJ nai chal raha" he replied.

"Kyo assa kar rahe ho mere saath?" she texted.

"Mai bas wahi kar raha hu jo mera dil keh raha hai" he replied.

"Kal mehandi hai, aur muje tum se mil ke baat karni hai, please come!" she texted.

He blocked her.

Beautiful designs were drawn on her hand but her eyes were searching for him and he didn't came.

"Where's Shrawan dad?" she asked "Isn't he helping you now"

"He did all the arrangements yesterday only, today he had some work, so he didn't came"

Same Day 1.00 AM

Someone slapped him in the sleep 

He woke up horrified. It was her sitting on him.

"Are you crazy!" 

"I can ask you the same question!" she glowered.

"What's wrong Shrawan? Why are you doing this to yourself?" she asked.

"I am not doing anything to myself!"

"Doesn't it hurt!" seeing me getting married.

"No not at all" he smiled.

"Stop smiling! I am serious!" 

"First of all get off me! And go to your home! Kal shadi hai tere" he said.

"I am sorry yaar! Maine breakup kar liya! But tuje toh pata he hai mai assi he hu" she had tears.

"Sorry ki koi zarurat nahi hai, tune wohi kiya jo tere liye thik tha" he said.

"Kya matlab?" she asked.

"You can't go against your dad because I am from another caste and your dad fixed your Shadi" 

"Tuje kaise pata? Ki maine issliye breakup kiya?"

"Sirf pyyar nahi karta, dosti bhi ki hai!"

"Kitni Selfish hu na mai, akk second mai tumko chod diya! Thappad bhi mara!" she started to cry.

"It fine, tumhari koi galti nai, tumne wahi kiya jo tumhare liye sahi tha" he said politely.

"But tumhare sath galat kiya!" still crying.

"Assa kuch nahi hai! Muje thodi der ke liye bura laga but I was fine then" he said

"How?" 

"Kyoki mai saach mai pyyar karta hu yaar, not only when you are beneficial to me or when you're nice to me" he said "I even love your selfishness, your sudden mood changes, you anger, everything"

"Means you still love me?"

"Always" he said

 smiling peacefully.

"Ok then" she wiped his tears "Chal bhag jate hai! Mai bag pack karti hu tu bhi saman le lee!"

He smiled and said "Nahi ham nahi bhagenge!" 

"Kal puri izat se tumhara Kaniya Daan hoga aur Vidai bhi"

"Pagal hai tu? Kyu assa?" she was irritated.

"Because you don't love me!" he said, smiling "Aur shadi ke bad BreakUp nahi divorce hota hai"

"Honestly, mai apne dost ko kuch sacch batana chahti hu" she said.

"Go on"

"Maine pure 3 saal timepass kiya tumhare sath but right now I am truly in love with you" she leaned to his lips for a kiss, he went back, she held her neck and forced him, he resisted, pushed her back. 

"NO Prachi Sharma! NO!"

She again tried and he pushed her back again. 

"Please be mine!" she begged.

"You're not in love with me Prachi! It's just little obsession which will end soon"

"I did everything wrong to you! Why you always be so good?"

"I don't do, it happens automatically"

"I wish I could love you the way you love me" 

"You cannot and you ever won't"

"Why?"

"Because you don't have a best friend named Prachi!" he said, she smiled.

"Thank You" he said. "For?" she asked. "For being there, without you I couldn't experience such beautiful love" he said. "There's nothing in me! It's all about your heart" she said.

"Can I hug you for the last time Shrawan?" she asked. He looked at her eyes and "Ok" he said

"I will be happy with you" she said, hugging him tightly.

"But it's too late now aur wase bhi tumhare pati ki kundli nikali hai! Sahi banda hai! Aamir hai! Six Pack bhi hai! Accha insaan bhi hai! Khus rahegi tu!" he said.

"Paar tere jaisa nahi hai" she said, tightening the hug "Woh mera Dost nahi hai"

 "Kya pata uska stamina accha ho" he laughed.

"Kutaa hai tu akk namber ka" she laughed.

"I think now we should end this hug" he said as the hug was getting extremely intense.

"Thik Hai" she said, tightening her arms.

"On the count of three, we'll part and you'll walk back home without looking back!" he said.

"One" she said, feeling him totally.

"Two" he said, pressing her to himself, tightly.

"Three" they said in union, both pushed each other and she ran back home, without looking back.

Shaddi

PanditJi: Ladki ko leke aaiye.

He took her to the mandap.

"Phataka lag rahi hai tu kamini" he said.

"Shadi hai mere, haq hai mera" she said walking.

"Dulhe ko dekho, gay na ban jau mai isko dekh dekh ke, shakshat Hartik Roshan hai yaar" he made her smile, tears in his eyes.

"Chup kar Kamine, roone de, itna bhi accha ban ne ki zarurat nahyi hai" 

"Yaar par mujse handsome banda kaise mil gaya tuje, I am jealous!" he said.

"Tujse se to gali ka kutta bhi zyada handsome hai!" she laughed, tears in her eyes.

"7 round marne hai! garbad maat karna kuch" he said.

"Itni bhi bevkoof nahi hu" she said. 

She took marriage vows and he stood behind, seeing her getting married. 

"Phero ke liye utheye" Pandit Ji said.

At the third round she stopped and went to Shrawan 

"Agar ye future mai kamina nikla to?" she whispered in his ears.

"Mmmm.. Soochne de" he said.

"Jaldi sooch" everyone was looking at them.

"Han mil gaya Idea!"

"Kya?"

"Agar ye kamina nikley to akk phone kar dena, mai tuje Kidnap kar lunga!" he said.

"Arey waah, kitna maza ayega! Mai kabhi bhi kidnap nai hui!" she was excited.

"Abhi ja warna Sharma ji haam doko ko kidnap kar lenge" he said.

Prachi completed the rounds. 

"Dulhan ki maang mai Sindoor bhariyre" Pandit ji said.

"Mangal Sutra pahnaiye" Pandit ji said,

"Viwah sampan hua" pandit ji said, his beats slowed down.

Her beats raised up. 

Vidai

"See me at the water place" he said.

"I'll try" she said.

5 mins later

She came, in her beautiful wedding dress. Every step she came closer felt like time stopped.

"Ho gaye shadi?" he asked.

"Kya lagta hai?" she asked.

"Ho gayi" he said.

"Bol kyu bulaya" she asked.

He took out a Pizza, handmade pizza, which he made for her.

"Tu mera jana mushqil kar dega!"

"Chup chap ka le akk piece aur nikal yaha se!"he said.

"First time jab ham mile the, tab ka hai ye, my first surprise!" she said. 

"Kha le" he said puddles scrolling down.

"Khila dey" she said, wiping her tears.

She ate. He watched her eating peacefully.

Both were crying. 

"It's time to go!" she said.

"Yes it is" 

"Will you be able to see me going?"

"You know the answer very well" he said.

"Love You, never see you again" she said.

"Love You, never ever see you again" he said.
