He stares at her continuously without a single blink. She, his girlfriend, feels uncomfortable. He was invited at her mother's birthday party at her place. All her relatives and family members were there. She walks to him, wiping sweat drops from her forehead and whispers in his ears "Stop staring me Shawn". Shawn, her boyfriend, feels deeply comfortable as she came near. He smiles, his eyes still fix on her's. As if he was a traveler in desert in search of ocean under the sand dunes. His intent gaze, the explorer, invents the raising fear in her eyes. He finally blinks and look towards the sky, stars he see. A constellation makes its reflection his eyes, he smiles. He look at her and ask "Why?". "Because if someone from my relative caught you staring at me, our relationship will get finished!" she says, little angry. He again look at the constellation, he see the starting point of Big Dipper, he find its twinkling. "'Will' catch, I 'might' get busted, our relationship 'will' get finished" he says "What do you mean?" she ask. "Fear you let originate, exists only because of future you imagine" he say. "Oh, but it's factual possibility, isn't it?" she mumbles. "'Possibility' don't you think it is a traitor?" he shift his gaze from her to the beginning star "See this constellation, light travels at a particular speed, all these stars are light years away, here merry possibility is that the constellation we see might not actually exist!" "So?" she looks at her, her eyes twinkling.
"Still we see it, not because they are, but because we are" he smile.
"I love you" she say, aloud, feeling relaxed as solved the myth of fear. All her relatives and family members stares at her. Parents ashamed, relatives angry.
"Right now, I am the watcher, your eyes, you, my pretty creation. Everything else, doesn't it fade?" he says and steps to her "Love you" he whisper, take her in his arms and they kiss, explorer starts drifting inside the sand dunes, in the middle of the depths he understands grain of sand and drop of ocean, are nothing but a beautiful replication. All relatives, her family, the open terrace party, bottles of wines, everything starts them to fade. She open her eyes, lips part by a salivary string. Blackness, emptiness is all she see. "Turn around" he say with glee. She find herself in between the constellation, she blinks and for the moment he goes for her salvation. She open her eyes and he disappears. Now she realize why was he staring her, without a single blink, how magnificently he was saving her. Suddenly she hear a voice from her inside.
"Sorry but I cant"
